53rd Aviation Detachment

The unit consisted of four armed CH-47 helicopters and it was located
at An Khe, RVN. The unit was attached to the 228th Avn Bn for billeting,
mess, etc. Photos and unit patch provided by Lee Biggs, Detachment
Commander during part of 1966. Supported the 1st Cav Division.
